The Fandom Museum- Monday all day

Yesterday the building had been closed off for construction, and today, like magic, a whole new, improved building stood there! It was a stately building that looked pretty small and simple, though once you walked in you'd find that it had the potential to be much bigger. You know, once they had things to put in exhibits.

If you wandered in you'd find Blathers the owl, who was more than ready to collect your donations, tell you about items, or just explain what this place was.

Of course if you came during the day you'd have to wake him up first. Nocturnal, and all.

"All right, what's your turnip prices?" Alexis asked, running in in heels.

Blathers did not answer, because Blathers was asleep.

Alexis waited.

And waited.

And finally shook his... shouder? a little to wake him up. "Um, hello?"

[fh_animalcrossing]

"Hoooo- HOO!!" Blathers said, snapping awake. "Oh dear. Pardon me... Welcome to the Fandom Museum. How may I be of service?"

"Hi. I need to know your turnip prices today," Alexis said, already kind of not into this after she got kind of yelled at by a waking-up owl. Like, you're at work, guy.

"My apologies, but we don't accept turnips here at the Museum." Really, Alexis. Come on. "We accept donations of bugs, fish, sea creatures, properly assessed fossils, and works of art. If you acquire any of these items, please do consider donating them."

"Oh! Wait, I have a butterfly," Alexis said, reaching into her pockets to pull it out. "I'm only interested in the cute things."

Guess who wouldn't be fishing.

Blathers looked into the little container and felt faintly illy.

"Hoo! Dare I say, EWW! That is a common bluebottle! Do be careful! And do NOT release it from its cage! I shudder at the very thought."

He shivered.

Alexis blinked.

"It's a butterflyyyy?"

"Not just a butterfly," Blathers corrected. "This is a type of swallowtail butterfly with a bright blue line running down its wings. They fly quite nimbly, it seems, and thus are quite difficult to catch. But seeing how they've been known to slurp nutrients from MUD puddles, I simply CAN'T imagine wanting to catch one myself. What awful breath!."

She stared at him and said, "Did you just ruin butterflies? I don't want it anymore. Ew."

"Rest assured that all donations will be treated with the utmost care, even if they are detestable creatures," Blathers said, taking the butterfly cage and pocketing it. "Is there anything else I can help you with?"

"God no," Alexis told him.

"Very well," Blathers said, unbothered. "Please come again!"
