Jaskier had been given a very nice radio by the mailman for reasons he could not fathom, but he was hardly one to refuse a gift. Thus he was playing music on it while he manned the store.

Though, for some reason, no matter what channel he tried the music was only the work of one KK Slider.

He did not know who this man was, but he was certain this was a rival.

Moe didn't know what this store was. If he did, everyone would be traumatized.

Instead he walked in to look around and instead closed his eyes to start jamming along with the music.

Which was probably for the best, all things considered. You know, unless Timmy and Tommy really started branching our on the things they sold...

"Oh! Uh. Hello?"

"I love this song!" Moe explained.

"Do you?" Now he had to crush this KK Slider.

"What's your favorite K.K. Slider song, myawn?"

Because Jaskier had to have one!

"I don't have one." Because he was a hack who Jaskier hated after all of five minutes knowing about.

Moe looked shocked. Shocked.

"You're missing out, myawn!"

"I really don't think I am," Jaskier replied. "The hook is... pedantic."

Shock and horror!

"Right? I really dig it!"

He probably did not know what pedantic meant.

Jaskier was coming to that conclusion, yes. "What is so great about this? It's all the same."

"Well, perhaps if there were actual lyrics I might enjoy it."

"Maybe you'll hear them when you see him in concert!" Moe said.

"Be pardon?"

[fh_animalcrossing]

"We're fixing up the island so he'll come and put on a concert!" Moe said, and pulled out a telephone pole from his pockets. "If you out this up, maybe it'll speed things up, myawn!"

"...how did you have that in your pocket?" Also, he would set it on fire. Or, barring that, sell it to someone. Angrily.

"I put it in there."

Duh.

"Oh, of course." You were confounding, blue cat.

"Say, you wouldn't happen to have any bugs on you, would you?" Moe asked.

Normal question.

"No, I do not have bugs," Jaskier said, not trusting him as far as he could throw him. "I have peaches. Or will those also bring this terrible singer here faster?"

"No, I just wanted bugs," Moe said, and looked hopeful. "Could you find me a bug? Any bug will do!"

Jaskier maintained eye contact as he pushed the telephone pole into the garbage. Because he wouldn't let you win, Moe. He wouldn't.

If he was looking for a reaction from Moe, you weren't going to get I, Jaskier.

"I think you need a nickname. I'll call you sparky, because you're a firecracker!"

"You're inscrutable," Jaskier hissed, not realizing that he was in hell right now. He was in straight up video game hell.
