Monday: Covent Garden Flowers

Nell had found last week particularly confusing and the music particularly aggravating. It was a relief to come to work and not have the flowers mimicking the music at the expense of her nerves. In fact, it seemed that the flowers had been tired out by all the strangeness and most of them were very quiet today. In fact she was pretty sure that the lilies in the back were snoring.

Very delicately of course.
