Galactica Point, Sunday Afternoon
Lucifer had certainly had worse weekends on Fandom. It was quiet, yes, but for once he didn't feel the manic need to end that quietness, to fill it with something loud.
Intead he went for a walk, and actually took a moment to enjoy the sunshine. To watch the few active rickshaws move nimbly up and down the stairs. To listen to the birds. All that sort of thing.
He came to a stop at Galactica Point, as had always been his wont when he wandered. He put his arms down on the thick stone fence and looked at the water.
His phone rumbled.
With a frown, he reached into his pocket to produce it, and saw--
--a picture from Miss Lopez, of a cat with a chicken. He rushed to unlock his phone, jumping over to his instant messenger app and found that all of his sent messages from the past few months were suddenly set to read.
Heart leaping into his throat, he skipped to Miss Lopez's message - the only person who had answered him so far - and typed I'm going to take that as sexual innuendo, you know how I feel about cats. Hit send.
And watched it get stuck on 'sending' again.
Right. More angry phone calls to Portalocity, it would have to be.

The tea shop we visited has run out of their signature blend so I can't order more of it :( :( :(
Ok, tea was important, but Seivarden was really bored.
no subject
They have multiple blends, don't they?
Lucifer: still not nearly on Seivarden's level of tea-nerd.

And shortly after:
I did find a new glove shop online, but it's hard to judge the quality and sized from pictures.
no subject
Once again, Radchaai culture smashed right into Lucifer...ness.
no subject
About proper things, like tea and gloves. Because she was bored.

I'm thinking about the green ones.
Then:
Where are you?
no subject
There were possibly other reasons to pick clothing, but Lucifer disagreed with them.

She quickly added:
It's going to be easier to talk about this if I meet up with you.
Then, because perhaps being honest would work better:
Also, I'm really bored and I miss you.

I'll meet you there.

She wrapped her arms around Lucifer's shoulders.
"This is perfect weather for going swimming."

That was a joke.
"So, Los Angeles is terribly hot all year around?"
She let go of him.

Seivarden grinned.

If he wanted her to come along. She wanted to be sure that was actually the case.

Bar quarantine, but blah blah getting stuck blah terror of Chloe blah.

She made a gesture with her hand. "Anyway, someone should make sure Portalocity could be run in an efficient way."
The Radchaai might be good at it.

Lucifer hadn't even considered going to this universe's LA. Not really. It would be too... hollow.
Anyway, if Seivarden led a Radchaai invasion to take over Portalocity, Lucifer might find himself forced to fight her, and that wouldn't be great, would it?
"I suppose not."
no subject
"Of course, the differences would still be noticeable for you, I'm sure."
This was Seivarden trying to say that she was aware of that things in Lucifer's LA was complicated, even if he would be able to get there.
no subject
He still missed LA. It was home.
no subject
"Well," she said, "I've enjoyed the places you've taken me to. Even if the company made a difference too."

"Are there any nice tea shops? I'm assuming there are clubs."

"Let's see."
This was already a plan now.
no subject
"If," he said, "you find one with a nice bar nearby."

Thank you, Lucy.

"I'm sure we'll manage all that, don't you think?"
no subject
He wasn't generally much for the public touching Seivarden was so into, but he needed a distraction, and anyway, it wasn't like the area was crowded. So he reached to pull her into a kiss.
Yep. Definitely distracting.

She smiled.
"An extravagant breakfast in the morning."

"Walk with me," he offered. "I was going to finish up this jaunt by heading home."
