Silver was not oblivious to the fact that people here had a bad week, even if he had managed to avoid most of it. He only had the usual nightmares of knives cutting into flesh and hearing himself beg Howell to let him keep his leg. Which was in no way okay but still, it could have been worse.

Which would be why he started off the evening lining up shots on the bar, figuring that someone out there might need a quick hit of booze. And if nobody drank them, well, he would take one for the team and drink them all himself.

"Wow, you're braver than I am." He did as he was told though, picking two bottles of brown liquor at random.

He didn't know if Lucifer was capable of throwing up from mixing the wrong kinds of booze but Silver decided to avoid the possibility anyway.

"I have a week to forget," he informed Silver. "The alcohol won't do enough, but it's a start."

Rey wasn't exactly one to frequent the bars unless it was to catch up with Summer, but she was probably going to be big on distractions for a bit and she knew there'd be at least one person here.

She did eye the line of shots, though, and guess, "Bad week?"

Silver huffed out a laugh. "I figured if anyone here would appreciate a free drink it would be you."

"I was finally able to get a decent night's sleep last night and now there are free drinks, so this week is turning around," he said with an easy grin.

Guess it was the night for people who didn’t generally drink to visit an establishment whose main function was to serve drinks, because here Liam was.

Partly an effort to be social, partly an effort to just... see how people were doing in general.

He was still wearing long sleeves and gloves, though, even if all the nightmare crap was over. The whole thing had made him twitchy about touching people again.

“Evening, John,” he greeted. “Or would you rather I use ‘Silver’?” he asked, because he’d noted how radio tended to refer to him as opposed to how Rey had introduced him.

"Whichever you prefer," he said with a grin. "I just don't tend to introduce myself using my first and last name because then people either talk to me about a restaurant or parrots."

“Better than a few days ago,” Liam said. Which was to say, not great, but at least he wasn’t accidentally sharing traumatic memories with people anymore.

Was probably going to be wearing long sleeves and gloves for the foreseeable future, though.

Octavia wanted to bypass the chit chat.

Only she did it by striding right on behind the bar. (What? She worked here now, she could serve herself, right?) So, chit chat probably averted, but other talk, maybe not.

Even if she did manage a bro nod type of greeting at this... bartender she had no recollection of seeing before.

Who was Silver to stop a good looking woman from taking what she wanted behind the bar? Even if she hadn't worked here, he would have admired her tenacity.

And it meant less work for him, so.

"Evening," he said, nodding in return.

Octavia also tended to carry herself like she'd gladly stab anyone who got in her way, so, not stopping her was a solid choice.

"You new?" she asked, as she went to pour herself a brandy.

Lucifer noticed her a few swigs (or a few bottles) in. Part of him wanted to do something completely irrational like barge over there and just hug her for, maybe a couple of minutes.

But that was a weird impulse he was just... going to sit on in favor of waving at her with his current bottle.
