The Park [early dawn hours]

Anakin knew the students he taught very, very well. He knew the teachers even more.

Which was why, when he decided to give an assembly on weapons preparedness using paintball guns, he stashed a few extra guns unobtrusively around the park.

Just in case people needed to defend themselves from giggly teenagers and their teachers. These things happened. Sometimes.

Once things had spilled away from the school, Sabine headed for the park, figuring it'd be an easy way to pick people off from a tree where she would hide.

...there was an extra, better paintball gun in the tree. Sabine didn't even hope no one else came looking for it, it was hers now.

And she'd use it on anyone unlucky enough to be in range of her tree.

Anakin came strolling along, looked straight at her tree and waved.

Anakin was an assssssshole.

Sabine fired off a shot at him anyway.

Look. It was canon.

Anakin smirked and stepped out of the way before it got to him. "Not a bad attempt!"

Sabine fired off another shot, and then tried another right away, but the gun just did not want to work as fast as she wanted it to.

"Honestly this is insulting."

Anakin laughed. "I'd say I'm sorry, but...no."

So Sabine, naturally, reached into her pocket and threw down a paint bomb.

Yes, of course she had that on her before this. It was just a splattery paintball anyway, and it hurt less!

Paint spattered up Anakin's boots and he laughed. "I like the innovation."
