So, did anyone know Town Hall had a basement? Because Tamsin hadn't.
But Jesse, who both didn't like the idea of there being a big space without knowing what was in there, and liked the idea of scrapping around in a big space without knowing what was in there, had found out. And she had disappeared down there for a week.
On Friday morning, she crawled back up through the hatch. Her hair was perfect. Her skin smelled faintly of oranges.
"Well," she said to her assistant, dusting the pollen off of her jacket, "That solves that mystery."
And that was that.
