The magical beach chairs had brought Steve and Danny back to Fandom after they'd been discharged from the hospital, blowing a hole in Steve's sushi date with Cath and whatever Danny had planned with Amber.
Steve wasn't spending any time thinking about that. He was too busy running the Troopers through five different rescue scenarios involving collapsed buildings and ignoring all of their questions about why he was moving like a building had been dropped on him.
Because a building had been dropped on him, but that wasn't why he was doing this! It was just important to be prepared!
[OOC: So open!]

He flailed about, hands wheeling for purchase on the nearest steady object.
Which just happened to be Steve's bare forearm.

And not a cleverly-orchestrated attempt to get his hands on Steve in order to provide a tiny bit of healing energy.

Steve shrugged. "Makes them magic to me. Between trips, the weird beach birds have turned them into condos or something, though."
