Atlas Gym, Monday (9/21)

As a general rule, Beau didn't pay most of the morning regulars any mind. They did their thing, she did what she had to do around the gym, it worked out. Totally uneventful morning.

Until the power blinked, anyway.

Beau got up and went to investigate (in no small part amused that she got to use her darkvision goggles for the first time since she'd brought them home with her from Wildemount) and would have ended up getting knocked over onto her ass by the air currents coming from the four industrial floor drying blower fans that were all plugged in and all turned on, facing toward the doorway of the storage room because she would have failed her strength saving throw, if they had still been on. Which they weren't, because they'd blown the circuit breaker.

"Dude," Beau said to the two gremlins who were standing there sporting identical expressions of what looked like sheepishness in the greyscale vision she got through the goggles. "The fuck, man? It's a good trick though, I'll give you that," she went on, actually yelling the last bit because the gremlins were scurrying off into the vents by then.

The faint exclamations of relief when she turned the breakers back on were still audible by the time she emerged back into the gym proper, and she raised one hand in a sarcastic wave.

"Yeah, yeah, you're welcome," she drawled.

They all ignored her.

"Yeah, whatever."
