"Oh, fine, I guess," Iris said, with a laugh. "They ain't really my thin' to draw in any case."

She was probably going to find some out of the way place to stick one before she left though. Just to see if he noticed.

"Parents' Weekend is this weekend," Iris explained, switching out her blue paint for a can of purple. "So the assembly were 'bout cleaning up and decoratin' the place for that. Seemed like fun, so I joined in. It's a nice break from makin' new bubble bath."

"You are welcome to do paperwork here if you want to break things up a little."

"I ain't trained on paperwork," Iris lied like a champ. Look, she got enough paperwork from her husband. "At least, not 'less you're willing to make a trade? How do you feel 'bout making bath bombs?"

"I'll have to pass on that one unless you want an inventory of defective goods." He knew his skill level there, thank you.

"See?" She shot him a grin. "There you have it; we're stuck with our own jobs."

"I guess it's better than it could be," he agreed. "Which shop is yours then?"

In case he needed to pick up bathbombs as a gift at some point. Maybe a glitter one to mess with Steve.

"Pick Your Poison," Iris said lightly. "Which sounds a lot more ominous than the bath and body shop it really is."

"I'm Iris," she added. "Owner and all that."

"Danny," he replied, jerking his head back at the station. "Not the owner."

"I guessed that," Iris admitted. "'Cause if you were Liam, you'd be lookin' a mite different and I'd be wonderin' if the island were to blame.

"What colour do you think? Green or red?"

"Shrunk a little too," he added dryly. Then tilted his head to take it all in. "Personally I'd go green."

[intraspective]

"Hey, ain't nothin' wrong with not towerin' over all," Iris said, since she was... decidedly not tall. "Green it is. What's your favourite flower?"

"How about some daisies?" Danny suggested. Because clearly no one could besmirch a daisy with some dicks, right?

"Sure," she said, eyeing the wall speculatively for a moment before beginning one. "Did you know they stand for good luck and new beginnings?"
