Iris didn't figure that she'd be busy on a weekend like this weekend, where almost everyone was dealing with their own visitors and all the ups and downs that came with that.
Which meant it was the perfect time to dismantle her window display and build it up again, from scratch, into something she liked better. Since it was fall, her shop smelled like warm apple cider, cinnamon, and pumpkin spice.
She hated the cold but she had to admit that she loved the smells of autumn.
