Up until now Diego had done a good job avoiding the station cat. He told himself he wasn't an animal person and he wasn't the type to be swayed by a cat no matter how cute it was. But as soon he sat down at his desk there the cat was, rubbing up against his legs and demanding attention.

He was trying to ignore it but give it about another hour and the cat would be in his lap.
