The Perk - Tuesday Afternoon
It had been an interesting first day in town and Jessica hadn't fully been exposed to all the weirdness it had to offer. Explanations of Halloween costume transformations hadn't chased her off the island yet. And as far as she was concerned, Jessica wasn't going to leave until she was sure there was nothing left here by Kilgrave to make her life miserable somewhere down the road.
Nope. No Fandom weirdness was going to chase her off.
Except maybe the woman in line in front of Jessica who just ordered a mocha caramel latte-chino made with skim milk, no whipped cream in a grande cup but the same amount of coffee that you’d put into a tall so she could stir in her own nutmeg without spilling any coffee. If she hadn't needed caffiene, Jessica would have just walked out and never come back.
The barista looked grateful when Jessica just ordered a large black coffee.
Jessica then went to the corner of The Perk and started going through her email which was surprisingly very light. The day before coming on the island she had to mass delete a thousand emails asking for her "services." Come to think of it she hadn't had any phone calls since arriving yesterday either.
Weird.
