Diaz & Ass., Monday [11/16].
One thing Rosa hadn't expected when she started up this little PI firm was that she would actually, eventually, have an actual Associate to go along with it, but there they were, and she was actually pretty impressed with Jessica, as far as she could tell, and decided sure. Why not? There was something about her that Rosa could really relate to and respect, even if she did sort of make Rosa feel like they were sharing so much, they might as well start braiding each other's hair and giving each other manicures, sheesh...
Either way, she thought it would be interesting to give Jessica a dumb and pointless assignment that should reveal itself to be pretty dumb and pointless pretty damn quick to even the worst detective, just to see where it lead her and what she might have to say about it, and then it was back to telling her Baltimore contact that she was trying to remain professionally objective here, but this obsession with this muffin was bordering on severe and maybe what she needed to find was a psychiatrist, not a recipe.
And revel in the fact that she had absolutely zero pony related phone calls to field that morning.
Diaz & Ass. is open!
