Covent Garden Flowers; Tuesday [11/24].
The autumnal colors that seemed to have taken over the shop when Astrid came in that day definitely put her in a little bit more of a fall kind of mood, and it made her want to just bust out her watercolors and put to use all the oranges and reds and yellows that she usually abandoned in favor of her heavier blues and blacks aesthetic.
But there was also a good deal of orders for Thanksgiving centerpieces that demanded her attention instead, and while the wreathes and cornucopias and other flowers were still interesting and fun to work with, she'd much rather be painting just then.
And having to shift some gears a little, thematically, when she came across at least one order that was distinctly Christmas flavored. Better than waiting until the last minute, though, she supposed.
