So. Jessica had a place to work and actual work to do thanks to her business contacts back in New York.

There was also someone who kept calling the office about a muffin recipe so Jessica was ignoring that phone for the rest of the day and texting Trish back home in the hope she wouldn't have to have an actual conversation with her.

Trish: You have to work Thanksgiving?
Jess: Yes.
Trish: Are you just saying that so you won't have to come home and deal with people wanting you to stand up and be a hero?
Jess: Yes.
Jess: And because your turkey is always dry and the stuffing sucks.
Trish: My turkey is delicious and it's dressing. Not stuffing. Stuffing is inside the bird, I cook it outside the turkey.
Jess: It's still gross

And that's when Jessica's phone started ringing.

So now there were two phones she was ignoring.
