Without a whole lot of work on her desk at the moment, Rosa was mostly just waiting out the day, ignoring a lot of stupid emails, and rereading through her Crimson Portal books. She heard a rumor that some streaming service was considering picking it up as a TV show, and it sounded like it was going to be an absolute dumpster fire of an effort, so, needless to say, she was really looking forward to it.

Mostly, she was just glad that, as far as she could tell at that moment, nothing too weird was going on that day.

That was, of course, before she started getting a few calls about investigating hit and runs done by an extremely slow moving rickshaw covered in Christmas lights. Granted, they weren't really interested in her help after she pointed out that they could have probably avoided all of this by just...moving out of the way.

Revolutionary idea, truly.

At some point in the morning, Rosa might have noticed a conversation happening in the bathroom. Followed by Jessica exiting the bathroom carrying her laptop and then just sitting down at her desk like working in the bathroom was absolutely a normal thing.

Because for Jessica it was a normal thing.

She grunted politely at Rosa in way of a greeting before pouring herself a drink and going back to work on her laptop.

Rosa lifted her chin (but not exactly her eyes) from her book in response, had a fleetinv notion of curiosity for what she could be working on that could be that pressing (but thankfully it passed very quickly), and made a mental note to never borrow Jones' laptop.

Considered a refill on her coffee, but she knew this chapter was a pretty good one, so it could wait.
