Silver had felt spectacularly useless over the last week or so and was relieved to find that things had gone back to (mostly) normal when he woke up this morning. Now he could be the regular kind of useless where it wasn't quite so obvious that he lacked any kind of fighting skill. His wheelhouse was manipulation and stealing which hadn't been very useful on the island yet.

At least he could pour people drinks should they want them.

Yes, this was definitely a day to visit Silver at work. Rey took what had become her normal seat, greeting him with a smile. "I like it much better when my days are like this."

"I kind of feel like the bears were just doing what bears do. It's the reindeer I really won't miss," she said.

"At least they don't seem to be common here," Silver said, sitting her drink in front of her. "So you don't need to worry about them outside of weirdness?"

"Thank you," she said, appreciating that he did just go and automatically get her drink like that. "Exactly. I can just glare at them through the holidays."

He knew she hadn't been seriously injured but still. He had to ask.

Do you hear kettle drums? Of course not, that would be ridiculous. Anakin was just coming in for a drink--or three--now that he wasn't barricaded in his own house due to excessive amounts of Christmas cheer.

"Whiskey please," he said. "Nothing holiday themed."

Possibly ever again.

Silver snorted and went to grab the whisky. "I don't think I would have obliged even if you had asked. There's been enough Christmas here lately."

Seriously, people in this century were obsessed. Christmas was not this over the top in 1715.
