Was Astrid spending most of her day crafting little tiny party hats and noisemakers and little flags out of construction paper and colored pencils to put on all the flowers and bonsai and other plants today to give the shop a bit of a more festive New Years feel?

She sure was.

Look, sometimes you just had to make your own entertainment.

And she liked to think the flowers appreciated it, too.
