The Devil's Nest, Friday Night

Coming back here after a week's spent... increasingly naked, bar last night's wonderful (and hard to entirely remember) interlude was a mixed thing: it was a welcome return to reality, to people and his piano, but he already missed the largely uncomplicated mood of the past few days.

So he settled on something less complicated to play for tonight. British invasion-era works, a bit of Animals, a bit of Zombies. And somewhere in the middle,

"Yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away..."

A little 'Happy New Year!' banner hung over the bar, and Lucifer had doodled, "HELLO 2021" on the specials board with a little Devil emoji on the side.
