Things were pretty quiet for Astrid in the shop that day, which suited her just fine, because that meant she could get a lot of drawing and painting done, all the while thinking it had been a long time since she changed the wall in her room, but she hadn't really felt inspired by anything enough to change it. That was, on the one hand, probably a good thing, since the wall was a way of her working through various traumas, but it also felt a little sad, almost as if she'd been stuck in a rut of some sorts, that nothing worthy of being plastered on a wall had been happening to her lately.

Which was, again, a good thing.

So it was a quiet, reflective day...except for the brief moment of activity when she pretty much spent a good hour of her day trying to talk down a very panicked customer who thought today was February 12th and not January 12th and was desperately trying to get a Valentine's Day gift before it was too late.
