Covent Garden Flowers, Saturday
It was too early for cherry trees to be in bloom, but that didn't stop Coven Garden Flowers. From somewhere, small cherry trees in pots had been delivered, and white and pink petals were occasionally drifting through an unexpected wind and floating to the ground. It made for a nice window display, Lucille thought, cherry trees and bonsai.
She was pleased to see that the books that she had left for Yasha had reached their recipient, and it meant Lucille spent some time considering what to give her next. It was clearly a good way to share an interest, although she had to admit to herself that she was curious to learn Yasha's opinion. Perhaps she should invite her for tea some day.
Unless something unpredicted happened, which was always a possibility here, it seemed like it would be a pleasant day.
