Rosa had definitely considered not going down to the office today; in fact, she had considered going down to the causeway, hopping on her bike, and spending a good few days as far from this island as it would take her after she woke up that morning and remembered the events of the weekend.

But...getting on her bike and driving as far as it would take her would be actually acknowledging the events of the weekend, and Rosa decided that, instead, she was going to just lean very hard into the idea that none of it had happened. You couldn't ignore something by running away from it.

So it was just a normal Monday, following a normal weekend, it was totally normal for her to put whiskey in her coffee in the morning, and she was just going to check her emails and start scouring some databases for some cases or resources like normal, and if anyone even thought of singing, she was probably going to throw a stapler at them.
