Summer had almost just gotten into the store after a long trip in space feeling anxious and itchy about space and moving a ton of shit, to find that a shipment of very heavy things had showed up early, and was just waiting for her to process it.
Which was absolutely not going to happen, not unless everyone wanted Summer's arms to, like, literally just pop out of their sockets.
"I've got orders to do anyway, Apu!" Summer tried not to whine, but....well, okay, no, she absolutely did not even bother to keep the whine out of her voice, while her muscles definitely screamed at her in protects the moment she tried moving what was apparently a whole box of bowling balls off the stack. "If these had arrived on any other day, you'd have taken care of them yourself. Just because I actually do work around here doesn't mean you can take advantage! I'll help with the boxes of cotton balls and toilet paper and maybe those pillows, but you're on your own for everything else."
And tomorrow? She vowed to not lift anything, not even a finger, and might already be wondering how she could exploit this idea for her class somehow...
