Well. It was definitely the week before Valentine's Day! Astrid felt like she was not only drowning in orders that needed to be put together ahead of schedule (she certainly felt sorry for whoever was working later in the week when all the last minute orders came in), but she was also drowning in an excess of pink, red, and white flowers that seemed to have arrived just in time. Forget wrangling them all together for bouquets and arrangements; she felt she needed to wrangle them all together just to make space.

But she did actually like the work, and sometimes, she wished there were more days like this, because having a seemingly endless list of orders (who were they even all for? There weren't even this many people on this island, and probably not even the surrounding area, either!) meant she could just focus on putting out good work, sneaking in her own little touches and the requisite oleanders, and just get through a day without having to think about too much except for creating beautiful things. Which was never a bad way to spend a day, even if it was a bit much.
