The Perk- Monday morning
Break weeks were supposed to be easy! No one was around, you got to be super lazy, it was great.
Unless of course you had a stupid little lion that told you you had to fix the delivery guy when all you wanted was a pizza, and then you'd spend a good portion of the next day dealing with a) pushing a guy down the stairs, b) having to steal a rickshaw to get him to the parking lot, c) driving him to the hospital for his broken leg, d) denying that she did in fact push him down the stairs when it must have been a gremlin or something, and e) reuniting him with his estranged father who just so happened to be the doctor assigned to him.
(She wasn't paying his bills.)
This meant that this morning she was tired, and got two coffees and a bagel before sitting down to eat with her coat still on. And the second she heard a muffled voice from her purse she said, "Don't you even dare," and she didn't even care if it got her a funny look from the baristas.
