Oh hey! Look who remembered he had an evening class, today.
Unfortunately, this meant that Duke walked straight into a trap. A glitter trap. The moment he opened the door, a bucket of blue and gold glitter overturned, dousing him head to toe. When the sparkly dust cleared and he'd stopped coughing up spangles, he saw that the rest of the room was similarly coated in a wide variety of sizes and colors. A box on the front desk contained a couple hand-vacuums, a roll of paper towels, a tub of playdough, lint rollers, swiffer cloths, a bag of uninflated balloons, a can of hairspray, and a jar of coconut oil.
"So . . . what," Duke said, swiping ineffectively at his hair (why'd he have to wear it down today?). "We're just supposed to learn by doing?"
No one answered. Duke sighed and went to go sit behind the front desk and poke at the box of tools. On the board read the words:
LEARN BY DOING!
Glitter clean-up
If the glitter trap on the door was magically resetting itself, Duke didn't notice. He was too busy trying to clear glitter out of his eyelashes with equally glittery hands.
