Trooper Station, Friday
There had clearly been something strange going on with the phones yesterday, what with all the confusing messages Liam had gotten.
It seemed to be fixed, though, as everyone who was calling the Trooper Station today actually meant to. Mostly to complain about... you guessed it, strange text messages and voicemails.
"Okay, yes," Liam was saying to the person on the other end of the line. "That does sound vaguely threatening, you're right. But I'm pretty sure that wasn't directed at you. I bet with a little context that's actually a perfectly innocent message. No, you can't file harassment charges. At least, not without proof they actually meant to call you. The island was doing a thing.
... You can't file harassment charges against the island either."
It was gonna be a long day.
