The Park [eaaaaaaaaaaarly Saturday morning]
The quiet stillness of the morning was broken by the whooshing sound of portals opening around the park and children--and some slightly older--began tumbling out. Some were more probable in this reality than others, but all were here for the weekend.
Wake up, Fandom, and put on some pants. The children were here.

Which would be why a blur of golden fur launched herself out of the portal to land softly in the park.

"Time to find Dad," she said. "Meep."
This was all terribly normal.

Réaltín was also well aware of what happened when a portal appeared but was less sure about where to go. But that older blue girl seemed a little familiar. Maybe she could lead the way. "I'm looking for my Dads. Or Glowy Club."
Ziya, who had had an impossible glowy not-brother on previous visits, shook her head a little. How did this keep happening to Papa? "I don't know Glowy Club but my Papa glows."
"Does he have a mask or does he..." Réaltín's hands waved.
"Mask," Ziya confirmed.
Réaltín beamed up at her. "Let's go!"

And no sooner did she go through the portal that she slipped on a pair of glasses, touched a button near the corner of the frame, and looked around to scan the area for the specifications of the particular dimensional thread she wound up on, any anomalies she should be familiar with, the weather forecast for the day, at least one notification about a new cute cat video that was definitely relevent to her interests, and an entire elaborate and up-to-date map of the island with four very specific locations blinking like beacons in green, with one location in particular also containing two more blinking lights, one pink, one blue, practically right on top of each other.
"Fucking perfect," she said, before checking her watch (the glasses, for whatever reason, did not include the time), nodding to herself, and then getting ready to set out to a warehouse named George, figuring she had a few hours to work uninterrupted, which should be plenty of time...

And, the moment you took your eyes off him, he was gone, teleporting off to find his dad,

When she got tossed through she landed with a hard thud but if she felt any pain sh didn’t seem to show it. In fact she seemed annoyed more than anything else.
She took a look around at her surroundings and let out a long sigh. “Sweet Christmas,” she groaned, suddenly remembering the stories from her mom.
And then went looking for the nearest liquor store.
