It was a quiet day at the station...

Other than the complaints about air pollution that started pouring in after a certain fire started, yes. But as Travis seemed to have the actual fire well in hand, there really wasn’t much Liam could do other than point out that where there’s fire, there’s smoke.

Steve came in, sniffing the air. "Did someone set the popcorn machine on fire again? Because it wasn't Danny and me."

"The popcorn machine is safe," Liam assured him. "This time, anyway. Dr. Lecter's house, on the other hand, has had better days."

"We didn't do that either," Steve said promptly.

“Should you be the first person I question in the event of a fire on the island?” Liam wondered.

"Of course not," Steve said, grinning. "Things just happen around me. You saw that in Oahu."

Maybe he was just part Muppet, then!

"So what you're saying is I should make sure the Station's insurance covers Acts of McGarrett," Liam said thoughtfully.

There was a long pause. "Maybe don't tell Danny you do that?"

Because Steve would never hear the end of it. NEVER.

"I dunno," Liam pretended to think about it. "What're you offering to buy my silence on this matter?"

"What would you like?" Steve asked.

Liam just laughed. “I was kidding.”

"Good," Steve said, grinning. "All I have is protein bars, weapons, and board wax."
