Well, their luck had had to run out one way or another eventually.
Octavia was a raccoon again, and Lucifer was annoyed about it. Who knew how long it was going to take this time? Another month? Three months? The full year?
"Another extreme shake, mr. Morningstar?" the barista chirped.
Lucifer glared at her. "I want coffee," he said. "Just dump as much sugar in it as you can possibly find behind the counter."
He was very, very annoyed by the situation, and not at all relieved he had something to turn all of his restless strange feelings on that wasn't himself. Yep.
