Fandom Trooper Station, Wednesday

Something was happening in the park again. Because it was Wednesday and it was summer. But it caused a single squirrel to come in to make a police report.

And guess who was dumb enough to not scatter like the troopers did.

"You know the chittering means nothing to me, right?" Danny asked the squirrel who was perched on the back of the chair across from his desk.

It was a long-ass walk from the park to the station when you were only a foot tall, it turned out. Steve had ditched the tail and ears but was still rocking his squirrel-themed aloha shirt as he gave the door a big shove to open it.

"I'm not taking another squirrel report," Danny said before he caught sight of Steve. And then the laughter. Oh, the laughter.

"It should wear off any minute," Steve said.

Well, squeaked. His voice had gotten weirdly high pitched, too.

Danny just continued to laugh, struggling to find his cell phone to get a picture of this. "Babe," he managed between snickers. "What is even--"

Steve sighed heavily. "Anakin shrunk us all to save money on making an obstacle course."

"Did you win?" He knew what was important for Steve.

[grenadesandohana]

Steve sighed. "No. And I got in a fight with a squirrel."

[OOC: IT WAS ALWAYS THE RIGHT STEVE]

"I'm sorry, you what?" Why was he surprised by this?

"Just verbal! There wasn't a physical altercation," Steve said like that made it better. "He was also the same size I am."

"...is that why a squirrel tried to file a report?" No, that was because it felt they were trying to replace them at the radio station.

"It better not be," Steve said, glaring.

[hatesparadise]

"Well. Is this going to wear off?" It better.

[grenadesandohana]

"It should be wearing off soon," Steve said. "Some people were already tall as they left."

"And for once you're not an overachiever," Danny replied dryly. "Want a lift onto your desk?"

"Want me to kick you in the ankle?" Steve countered.

"I was being nice here!" Also, you were Barbie sized, Steve. It was adorable.

He was giving a lot of attitude for someone who could be picked up and moved with impunity.

"How was that nice?" he asked. "I can climb up there!"

"Are you planning to rappel from your desk too?"

[grenadesandohana]

"I plan on being six feet tall again as soon as possible," Steve retorted.

Well, now. Danny was forced to tease. "Pocket sized you isn't too bad."

"I'm not pocket sized!" Steve squeaked.

[hatesparadise]

"Pretty sure you are." Look, Steve would have done this to him if their situations were reversed.

Steve did a modified version of it every other day, really.

Steve crossed his arms over his chest. "I would not fit in your pocket."

[hatesparadise]

"Definitely in a cargo pant pocket," Danny replied with a speculative look.

Steve smirked. "Shame you never wear them," he teased.
