"Eric thinks he's vexing me. It's adorable," Lucifer said, as he lifted the water feature up from by the piano and flung it across the bar.

It landed neatly in the axe range, scuffing its floor a bit in the process. Good.

"Mind hooking that up to the electricity over there, Tiny?"

Tiny looked up from where he was writing BLUE LAGOON - 15 PERCENT OFF on the specials board and gave a thumbs up.

"Excellent."

"I hate you so much!" Eric yelled from the office.

"It's for your own good!" Lucifer hollered back.

"People like axes more than piano music!"

He could get up and have a discussion like a normal person, but nah.

"Maybe in the 10th century, but we've all moved on since then, Eric!"

Lucifer could also go into the office to have that discussion, but also nah.

"Axes are cool again!"

"It's an already-dying fad!"

"Piano bars haven't been cool since the Great Depression!"

"Piano bars are always cool," Lucifer retorted. "Just ask Billy Joel!"

"Billy Joel is also not cool," Eric yelled.
