Blackstone Foundry and Forge; Tuesday [07/06].

Without Seivarden around to make sure that Amaya took occasional tea breaks (or any breaks at all, really), she'd had her nose to grindstone (almost literally!) on that new project she'd been excited about, wrapped up in a nice comfortable fog of progress and fire and sweat and hard work until she finally came out on the other side with a brilliant success.

After swiping the back of her hand against her forehead in a futile attempt to wipe away all the sweat from her hard word, Amaya lifted up what looked like a very sleek and stylish, but otherwise unassuming cane made of a steel. But, with one sharp movement of her arm, the cane burst into a glorious separation of blades. She gave the cane a firm knock on the ground; the blades obediently tucked back together. Lifted it and gave it a shake again, and they folded out beautifully once again.

It had worked out exactly how she pictured it would and it was a thing of pure beauty! She had been stuck in quite the fog while making it, she had to admit; she wasn't entirely even sure what day it was until she took a moment, checked her phone, saw that it was Tuesday, and then let out a satisfied sort of sigh. Not a bad way to spend a long weekend! Not a bad way to spend it at all!

In fact, the exhaustion from all her hard work was creeping up on her, and her stomach let out a little gurgle as if to remind her that it had probably been a while since she'd eaten anything, and she didn't really feel like whipping something up, and she knew all the places around town that had the best meats-on-sticks on hand, so why not indulge herself a little by ordering some up to be delivered, she could refuel, and then go see what she might have been missing about town while she was caccooned in her little blacksmithing bubble?

...we all knew where this was going, so let us not spare any more words in describing it, and just let Amaya's wide-eyed, full-of-regret "Oh, zards!" before she and her entire shop got sucked up into a hole do all the heavy lifting for us.
