Silver supposed the cans of pineapple rings were meant for him to, like, come up with some creative Olympics display but he was not that creative of a person nor that hard of a worker. So he just cracked open a can of one of them and was having rum with a side of pineapple. Bon Appetit.

"Is this dinner?" Rey greeted him, taking her seat.

"I suppose so," he said. "Keeps away scurvy, at least."

"Which is important. I could have brought something more substantial, though."

Was that even allowed here?

"More substantial than pineapple from a can?" Silver teased. "I don't believe such a thing exists."

"I hear sometimes they can even take that pineapple and add other ingredients," Rey said solemnly. "It could be just a rumor."

"Well that just sounds ridiculous," he joked. "I want proof."

Rey pulled out her phone.

"Do we know anywhere on island that serves pineapple!"

"You're the chef here, not me." Said the only person here who actually had "cook" as a job title before.

"I am definitely not cooking," Rey pointed out. "Looks like it comes on pizza.•

"...that can't possibly be right." What was wrong with people?

"What's wrong with that?" she wondered.

"I didn't think fruit belonged on a pizza," he said.

"I don't know that I've had it," Rey said, "thinking back, but I've never been picky about pizza toppings."

So she would try it and probably not think anything of it.

"I think pizza is one of those foods that people consider a blank slate," he said. "You can just slap anything on the dough and claim it's pizza."

"Which is what makes it great," Rey said. "I haven't had anything I haven't liked so far."

Rey was easy and should probably not be trusted.

"Is there a food you've met that you haven't liked, period?" he asked.

"Not yet," she said, shaking her head. "I tend to avoid Jell-O shots with food in them though, and people in the Resistance give me strange looks for liking some of the ration food there. I have no idea why."

He shrugged, since he had no idea why ration food would be bad. "It's good you like everything. Certainly makes life easier to not be picky."

"I don't understand why anyone would be picky. It's good," she reasoned.

"I suppose some can afford to be picky," Silver said. "They never had to deal with what was available."

"I guess. But they're also probably missing out on some stuff," she said.

"More for us then?" he said. Even if he was still suspicious over fruit on a pizza.

"More for us," Rey confirmed. "Though I would be nice and only get half pineapple on a pizza just in case."

She'd still eat it even if he didn't. That was love.
