There were two full bottles of grenadine expiring tomorrow, so now Silver and Tiny were doing their best to get rid of it. Just grenadine in everything. Beer, shots, bowls of peanuts, whatever. Sure, expired grenadine probably wouldn't kill you but...well, there was nothing else to do tonight so let them have their little mission.

Of course Rey came in and took her seat. "How's today going?"

"We're bored," Silver said, nodding his head over to Tiny. "But we're finding out ways to waste time."

"Such as?"

Obvious question was obvious.

"Getting rid of almost expired grenadine." The first activity had been looking at the bottles to find expiration dates in the first place. "Want some in your soda?"

"Please. I can also feel like I'm helping then," she smiled.

"Great," he said with a smile. He poured a healthy amount of grenadine into a glass before filling it with soda. "Thank you for helping us."

"Always," she said. "Is that your only entertainment?"

"Well you're here now," he said, sliding her drink over.

"I'm afraid I probably can't help Tiny much there," she told him. "Thank you."

Silver looked over at Tiny and shrugged. "I'm not really invested in his entertainment."

"He can keep up with the grenadine then," Rey said. "While I complain about tools turning into grapes."

"Again?" That seemed to be a problem with her lately.

"Before it was everything I touched. This time just tools," she clarified.

"I guess that's an improvement," Silver said. "Still very odd."

"It is. And annoying," she said. "I was busy and it was unnecessary."

"I don't think anything this island puts us through counts as necessary." Though sometimes it yielded positive results.

Flavor Day would be a forever favorite, for instance. "I'm sure the island thinks it's necessary," she said. "If only for its own amusement."

"Well it must be a very boring existence, being an island," Silver joked. "What else is there to do other than mess with people?"

"Especially when it seems to be a thing no other island can do," Rey added.

"I'm sure the other islands are very jealous," he said. "I'm sure the islands I used to live on especially so. Awful lot of drunks throwing up on it."
