Astrid was honestly a little surprised that the usual tradition of updating the sign to reflect Kyōraku-san's...uhh, we'll just say appreciation of women...hadn't actually occurred, and that was a little disappointing, because she felt she had a good addition this semester. But she supposed there wasn't anything stopping her from adding it anyway.
(She was tempted to also add the discount to anyone who brought her coffee here, too, but that bit was clearly starting to lose some of its steam already anyway).

Look, you had to get your entertainment somehow, and Astrid figured, around here, there could be some really interesting talents out there.
And it sure beat having to deal with Apu's insistence that she was pronouncing things slightly wrong whenever she said the name of a product or a brand. Apparently, Apu's special talent was being insufferably pedantic, which was not at all surprising.
