Well. Everything was back in ship-shape, there were no unexpected visitors, and Travis had officially run out of excuses not to open the station doors to the public again. Even though he hated the public, as a general rule. Even though he was pretty sure most of that public hated him right back.

Still, it was part of his duty as a firefighter to be available to assist in a variety of emergencies, including those that wandered in off the street, so here he was, making himself available.
