Yes, Lucifer had absolutely noticed that Eric had wrecked his topiaries. But he didn't care. He'd already arrived at stage two of his plan, which was to say there were workmen all over the Nest, building its new stage.
It was going to be lovely. Beautiful.
And took up most of the space the axe range did.
As an extra present to himself, Lucifer had also gotten them to raise Eric's office threshold to just the right height that any unsuspecting person wouldn't see it, but would absolutely trip over it.
He relaxed by the bar with a glass of wine. Bliss.
