Rey's warehouse- Friday Afternoon

Rey had been training this whole week (and probably overdoing it in an effort to make up for lost time), but she'd missed last Friday due to being a cat, and the week before that she had... not been herself.

So today she was running through Form III just because, and adjusting whenever the woodchucks chucked wood at her. Which actually was better practice for real life than if she was just running drills without? Not that she could tell the woodchucks that.

"Rey?" Anakin called, entering the warehouse.

You normal today? Please?

"I'm here," she said, punctuated by breaking a piece of thrown wood on her lightsaber.

"Whoo," Anakin teased, smiling.

[thatwaslucky]

"I wasn't me!"

That was super obvious, Rey, yes.

[sith_happened]

"I'm very relieved to hear that," Anakin said. "My neck tattoo is gone. Well, other than in the photos Rory took of it."

[thatwaslucky]

"You mean Tory?" she said, shutting down her lightsaber.

And then hang automatically dodging slightly to the left to easily miss the piece of wood flying towards her head.

Anakin sighed. "Yes. I am very lucky she has a sense of humor."

"And she probably knew it was temporary," Rey added.

[sith_happened]

"That was definitely working in my favor," Anakin said, "especially when I insisted on eating soup with my hands."

Why. Why.

"...Why would you do that?"

So many questions.

[sith_happened]

"I felt compelled to," Anakin said, sighing heavily. "It was so odd."

[thatwaslucky]

"I just thought I was fictional," Rey shrugged. That actually felt more normal than eating soup with your hands.

[sith_happened]

"That's clearly crazy," Anakin said.

[thatwaslucky]

"It made perfect sense at the time," she told him. "The shots might have had a lot to do with it."

[sith_happened]

"Kitty feels very badly about it," Anakin said with a laugh.

[thatwaslucky]

"These things happen," Rey said. "Even if I keep apologizing for how annoying I was, I'm sorry."

Anakin laughed again, waving it off. "How bad was your hangover?"

[thatwaslucky]

"Bad. I felt better by Sunday?" Rey tried.

[sith_happened]

"When you turned into a cat?" Anakin replied.

[thatwaslucky]

Rey let out a long, long sigh.

"It's been a very strange time."

[sith_happened]

"But at least the woodchucks are happy to help you get back into shape," Anakin said helpfully.

[thatwaslucky]

"Once in a while they can be helpful," Rey said, looking towards them. "I haven't gotten hit yet."

[sith_happened]

Anakin laughed. "Not from their lack of trying, I'm sure."

[thatwaslucky]

"Oh, they absolutely are trying to put me in the clinic," Rey said. "Can't really let your guard down."

She was watch you, rodents.

Anakin waved his hand and dropped a piece of wood through the Force that they chucked while he was talking. "Indeed."
