Causeway into Town - Wednesday Morning

It felt strange to Liz that she was doing this. She couldn’t believe that after all this time she was back on the island where she had gone to school, that had been over ten years ago and now she was going to be running her own business.

Well technically it was Professor Bruttenholm’s since he had purchased the shop for her but she would be running everything herself and she got to work with photography, which after the last few weeks she was looking forward to getting lost in a creative project again.

Liz had packed everything into a duffel bag and a backpack, the rest of her equipment had already been sent onto her new place and she’d unpack it when she got to setting up her store.

She also had a cat carrier with a small tabby kitten inside named Rain, courtesy of Hellboy since like before when she had been a student he had given her a new kitten and now over ten years later, he had given her another one to keep her company. The name had been his idea as well because he thought it had been hilarious to have a cat named after water considering his origins and her powers.

She walked closer towards town, looking around to see what had changed since the last time that she had been here.
