Covent Garden Flowers, Saturday

Having had a slight cold yesterday, Lucille decided to open the shop today instead and take on the orders for autumn floral arrangements that had been placed. The shop was quiet, peaceful, and she almost decided not to turn on the portable record turntable that she had brought with her, handwavily bought from Groovy Tunes, along with a few records of classical piano music.

Apparently the turntable was considered old-fashioned in a fashionable way, at least in the circles where the Annoying Vinyl Hipster moved. They had ended up having a conversation on the matter at the shop, one that ended with Lucille mentioning that she was used to a cylinder phonograph, and that record players were in face quite modern to her. Annoying Vinyl Hipster seemed to find this impressive in a way he was reluctant to admit, and the discussion had ended there.

She did decide the that music was preferable to silence today though, and picked a record she felt was in the right mood.
