So, Prompto had a job!

Well, Prompto actually currently already had two jobs (he was turning into a real Summer Smith over here or something!), between the Crownsguard gig and the whole teaching thing, but how could he have refused picking up maybe a shift or something here and there, while he was still on the island, at helping to get the photo shop in town back up and running? It wasn't really a job, anyway; it was kind of just an excuse for him to get to mess around with a lot of equipment and hopefully geek out with some fellow photography minded people before things got to a point where the Crownsguard gig was going to kind of be the only gig. Which....probably won't be too long, really...

And that was exciting, but it was also very daunting and intimidating, so he was going to try not to think about it too much. And, considering that he figured, if it wasn't for the Crownsguard, he'd probably want to do something like professional photography for a career, this was kind of a neat way to imagine that alternative.

For now, though, he was mostly just going to familiarize himself with a lot of the equipment and merch, especially in processing the loads of pictures he took on his vacation, maybe trying to find some other little things he could get finished up to make things easier for Liz as she got things going.

And reminding himself that, no, no, he really didn't need another camera, but, well, his birthday was coming up, if anyone needed some suggestions!

Liz had an employee starting today so later that morning she thought she’d head downstairs to see how everything was going.

“Good morning,” she smiled at Prompto, “how has your day been so far?”

"Oh, hey, Liz!" Prompto looked up from where he was checking something out, putting it back on the shelf, and meeting her with an eager grin. "So far, so good! Just sort of figuring out where everything ended up. Getting the lay of the land, that sort of thing! How, uh, how's your day?"

Sure, he figured she was asking more as an employer than as just casual conversation, but it seemed more polite to ask!

"There ended up being a lot of stock," Liz nodded with a smile, "I think I ended up finding a spot for everything though, we shouldn't need any more inventory for a while at least," she said, "and my day's going pretty well thank you, just wanted to see how things were going and if you needed me to get you anything?"

Prompto looked around a little as if some sort of problem might jump out at him at the last minute, but, when nothing did, he just looked back at Liz with a grin and shrugged. "Not that I can think of," he said. "I mean, shouldn't it be the other way around? Like, it should be me asking you if there's anything you need me to do?"
