If anyone asked, Margo was gonna lie like a dog: no, magicians didn’t get hangovers, they were too fabulous and magic for that. You know why she’d waited until Monday to make another appearance in public? Because she just threw an amazing party, you’re welcome, and mama deserved some R&R and a massage.

She hummed some idle tune to herself as she got the store ready to go. It smelled nice. She was actually capable of enjoying that again.

It had nothing to do with some kinda hangover that she clearly hadn’t had all weekend.
