Because Diego had put it out there into the universe, Steve had come home from the party on Friday night to find that Danny had coughed up hairballs into his boots and clawed up his favorite pair of board shorts.
Steve vowed to not leave him behind, which appeased Danny until he saw the cat backpack Steve was going to put him into for his morning run.
So Steve now had a wicked claw mark across the tattoo on his left bicep, a partner that was still a cat a week after his initial transformation, and a sour look on his face. "I miss Mr. Pickles," he muttered to Danny as he dumped him onto his desk chair before rounding the Troopers up to go for a long run around the island.
The station was open! Watch out for hairballs.
