Furnado Animal Shelter; Monday [11/01].
After spending most of the day yesterday just hiding in her room with all her plushies and some books, because she'd turned into a ghost and scared herself something awful every time she managed to catch her reflection in something, Sakaki was very glad that morning when she could actually manage to get sheets off of herself, and seemed to be back to normal.
Maybe it was silly, because she wasn't even a scary ghost, just a white sheet with holes poked into it, but it was pretty scary to her!
Either way, she was determined to spend that day at the animal shelter making herself feel better and infusing herself with all sorts of cuteness to chase away all the spookiness by first, having herself a little puppy tea party, wherein she put cute little bonnets and hats on the puppies and set up a play teaset, which they just ended up messing up entirely, but that was part of the charm, and then she cautiously made offerings of some of her own attempts to recreate some of those adorable sushi-shaped cat toys (they...didn't even really look like sushi, even if you squinted) to the cats, which....one of them swiped her good across the cheek, and one got her hand before she could pull it back, but then they at least sniffed at the toys once she left them alone! And then she decided it was going to be bird bathtime, because watching the birds splash around in the water was just doing amazing things for her soul right now.
And she had absolutely, without a doubt, gotten rid of all the Halloween decorations!
She was feeling a million times better already!
