The Photo Hut - Tuesday

Liz was looking forward to the colder weather settling in and winter approaching, winter was her favourite season and getting to wear cozy sweaters with leather pants was one of her favourite things to do. She was wearing one of her favourite sweaters today and it was making her happy as she headed downstairs and opened the store for the day.

She was also hopeful about getting to hang out with Prompto again, yes the potential cat playdate was for Rain’s benefit since she hadn’t had a chance to interact with other cats since they had moved to Fandom but there was also the added bonus that she got to spend more time with Prompto and she was really enjoying spending time with him.

For today’s shift she was looking up daguerreotypes and researching how much it would cost to order in cameras and equipment and some of these were rather expensive. The day to day running of the store was her responsibility but she felt that since Professor Bruttenholm was the financial backer of the store that she should get his advice before she committed to buying any type of equipment for this type of camera so she wrote him an email to see what he had to say.

At some point in the day, Liz's phone might just buzz with a text message from a certain gunslinger off in Insomnia at the moment:

Hey, so, what kind of movies do you like? 😁😁😁

Followed by, a moment later, a second text:

This is prompto by the way!

Because, yeah, yeah, he'd texted her before and she definitely had his number, but, hey, it didn't hurt to be clear, just in case she didn't have his number saved or whatever! He just wanted to make sure she knew who was asking, that's all!

Liz smiled when she saw the text messages, she had definitely saved his number in her contacts so she most definitely knew who it was.

hi! :) she was still figuring out emojis on her phone so she hadn’t quite gotten the hang of them yet I like all kinds of movies but my absolute favourite is meta for for Star Wars! :) she sent him the text back. thank you Guillermo del Toro for being very specific with Liz’s likes and dislikes

Prompto seriously felt he wouldn't even know where to begin with trying to guess the answer to that question--that was why he asked! And he was feeling so glad he did, because he probably wouldn't in a million years have guessed that!

But it was kind of an awesome answer, if you asked him, and he grinned as he read it.

Don't worry, Liz. Clearly, Prompto had the emoji down to cover both of them....and then some.

Just wait til she found out there were even more Star Wars movies.

Thursday would work for me…and Rain of course :) because this was why they were doing this after all, it was all completely for the cats.
