The Photo Hut - Tuesday
Liz couldn’t believe that she would be going home for the first time since she had returned to Fandom over a month ago and she was bringing Prompto with her. She thought back to what a difference a week made - a week ago she had been a nervous wreck about being reminded of her childhood and then she had broken down and told Prompto everything (and she had also broken down in front of his friend and … she was pretty sure he didn’t like her now - which wasn’t anything new, she was used to people not liking her but it did feel weird experiencing it as an adult especially at Fandom). Prompto had told her his secrets and now there they were about to head back to Liz’s home to celebrate Thanksgiving with a demon (who would hopefully at least tolerate Prompto if anything else and not completely break him) and an amphibian psychic (who could also potentially cause problems for Prompto).
Honestly it said something when Professor Broom was the most normal out of them and he was an expert in the occult and was Liz’s boss - actually technically he was her boss at her old job and her new one since he was the financial backer of the store and Prompto worked for her and technically he would be meeting his big boss - she should probably not mention that because she had a feeling that Prompto was already freaking out enough about coming home with her as it was.
She knew this was probably way to soon in their relationship for her to be bringing home someone she was maybe official with - she didn’t know how to describe their relationship, it was all so very new. Then again it wasn’t like she was ever going to have a normal experience in that regard with her BPRD background and her powers.
Liz got out the boxes of Christmas decorations that she had been putting away and she figured that since it was almost Thanksgiving, she would start to decorate for Christmas - it felt a bit weird to think that she had been talking about decorating right before she’d had her first breakdown in front of Prompto. It also gave her a chance to focus on something calming instead of what might go wrong tomorrow when she took Prompto home to meet everyone (at least there were cats, if anything else Prompto should get along with the cats … and maybe Hellboy and Prompto would bond over that? Maybe?) and after she was finished she could also take instagram photos the progress of the store for both the official Photo Hut instagram page and her own one.
