There was Christmas music being piped in from somewhere when Rey came into the warehouse. Apparently the woodchucks were really into the holiday spirit this year?

It was making running the course kind of hilarious, though. Nothing like jumping over a quicksand pit while someone's singing about rocking around a Christmas tree.

Anakin had moved from Thanksgiving hell to Black Friday hell but was still up in Connecticut. Hopefully Rey's comm had its volume up?

What was the polar opposite of being spoiled?

We had to go to Rory's mom and stepdad's for dinner. Then her dad's. Then her grandparents'. Then Luke's sister's. Then Lane's. Then Paris', which was catered and had a PIE BUFFET. Too much pie.

That sounds amazing.

I'll bring some back. Seriously, just so much pie.

I don't have to eat for another month, at least, but yes, it's been a good trip. Aside from Luke's sister, who's very odd.

But it's not health food either.

I got the impression this holiday is about the opposite of health food.

Rey had only ever had one thing she didn't like and that was knockoff Dr. Pepper.

It wasn't great. I liked the apple. And the cranberry. And the chocolate. And the pecan. And the cheesecake. Did I mention there was too much pie?
