The Park; Saturday Afternoon [11/27].
There was something that Shunsui had been woefully remiss about appreciating pretty much all this year so far, and that was his particular expertise in the art of park bench napping. And here it was already starting to get too cold to truly enjoy it already! Almost. There was quite a bit of a chill settling in as the island moseyed its way on toward the (presumably) inevitable New England winter, but there were maybe a few good days left for someone of Shunsui's particular fortitude to enjoy before it just became unbearable.
Or perhaps just the one, which was why he felt he should take advantage of this day in particular to roll out of bed, wash down ssome breakfast with some sake, take some old buns that were sitting in the back of his fridge with him to appease the ducks a little bit before finding a nice bench, stretching out comfortable in a sea of robes, pulling his hat down over his face, and settling in for a good park bench nap.
And should he find himself perhaps disturbed by some beautiful woman passing by, well, then...he would consider himself lucky. And if not? Well, then. He'd still be getting an excellent nap out of it, so, either way, he came out better off than before!
Of course, there was the chance that he might be disturbed by someone not a beautiful woman, but that possibility was one he felt wasn't even worth considering.
